Skills in Claude Code are powerful but hard to discover—users must already know slash commands exist. I designed /skills-analyze, a command that reads your git history, codebase, and conversations to suggest skills worth creating. Built as a speculative portfolio piece for Anthropic in December 2024. The multi-terminal, shared-context approach I used became my default way of working with Claude Code.
